I love using the advanced search and I understand the way the team has set it
up now.
I use it e.g. to have a saved search for all pictures of 2021 which a 3+ star
rating. The current setup is "static", meaning the included subfolders are
statically saved with the advanced search. If new subfolders are added in 2021
after the advanced search was saved, they are not included. 
There it would be a nice improvement for the usability if there was an option
to "include sub-Albums" (... Feature Request).
