Good memories. Mine were a bit buried, but you're right from what I can tell. The fact that dlopen and friends are now part of the system libraries made me forget completely about the unloading peculiarity, and the efforts I put into making plugins for my own pet project unloadable. Not that I ever actually use the feature, but what can be loaded should also be unloadable, eh? :)
