In whatever session, an application linked to Qt4 will keep using Qt4, yes.

So yes, don't touch kdelibs4, the issue with Q_WS_MAC is in Qt5 and KF5.

See: don't say KF5 when you means Plasma5. I wasn't being pedantic, I honestly 
didn't understand what you meant. KF5 is a bunch of libs, not a 
workspace/session.
