Maybe I am being simplistic, but all those reports seem to add up
to one thing --- Apple OS X's native Aqua theme, as used by Qt 4,
is not good with KDE 4. But any other theme *is* --- QtCurve and
Plastique even. Do the same bugs recur with KF5/Frameworks?
And are they all fixed by changing to QtCurve or Plastique?

If so, the KDE Community guys will just blame Qt's usage of
Aqua and suggest we report it to Qt. And if that happens, we
might only get asked to come up with a short C++ program
that demonstrates the problem, as one of the KDE 4 guys said.

Is the KCalc layout bug something radically different to the above
bugs? I liked it because the screenshots are so dramatic. Nothing
subtle about that bug… :-)

But if we cannot say with certainty that it is a bug in KF5/Frameworks,
I think we should hold back for now, i.e. don't start a new bug report.

Perhaps we should start a discussion with KF5/Frameworks guys
on whether KF5 should standardise on another style on Apple OS X,
i.e. not Qt's usage of Aqua… Then if someone says, "We should use
the standard Qt5/Apple stuff on Apple OS X", we can say, "Yes, but who
is going to make it work properly? Who can help make that happen?".

Cheers, Ian W.
