Margin note:
While it's great to see that some developers are thinking about OS X too, there's a more fundamental hurdle that the few people who are actually trying to get KF5/Mac to work are facing. We could use some help from people who are intimate with the KF5 build system in order to integrate potential patch(es) to QStandardPaths (required because there's no common code that's guaranteed to be run by each and every KDE application).
