[KDE/Mac] What is happening to the KDE/OSX themes?

Hi guys,

A week or so ago I upgraded to KDE 4.13.3_0 on MacPorts but had
some problems getting it to go until yesterday, due to some months-
old private portfiles still lying around.

Then I noticed that the theme of KDE apps had changed.  The toolbar
and heading were combined and rounded and the background colour
of the header bar and status were very dark.  Also, right-click on the
toolbar to configure text and icons was no longer working.

Then this morning I did "port selfupdate" to MacPorts 2.3.2 and found
that my kdelibs4 and kde4-runtime were outdated.

So I did "sudo port upgrade outdated" and now the themes are back
to separate headers and toolbars, the background is lighter again and
the right-click on the toolbar works again.

What is happening?
