Just wanted to mention here that there are some discussions happenening at the 
kde-devel mailing list just for the case you're not subscribed.

And I'm trying to find (KDE) Mac people to come to Randa this summer [1] to 
help make (and keep) KDE software and mostly apps more platform independent.
