In all honesty, the per-application disable trick doesn't work always (I don't know if it is know why that is), but setting the flag in the Info.plist doesn't harm anything. It just means that kdevelop will be a bit less nice to the battery if the user doesn't quit it when done. (The alternative, disabling the nap feature altogether, system-wide, is better to be left to the user...)
