you need to be inside the kde-mac directory that was created by
downloading the torrent files.

So, if you told your torrent app to download to /Users/me/tmp/downloads/
then you would want to do:

~  cd /Users/me/tmp/downloads/kde-mac/
~  chmod a+x *.pkg/Contents/Resources/postflight
