I "removed" maybe 80 of them. No fooling. Also got rid of the extra address 
book resources. On KDE restart, the change seems to have stuck.

All those extra maildir_resources were pointing to nothing. I kept one and 
manually pointed it to the real maildir folder.

What a difference.
