[kde-linux] Strange keyboard map problem

I had that too when I was experimenting with SystemSettings/Region & 
Language/Keyboard Layout/Advanced. I was trying to get Ctrl-Alt-Backspace to 
work but instead My | key ended up as ยค or something like that.
