It might be a popular wish, but I don't see it as a good idea.

The problem with the current clock is that it doesn't use the system 
date format.

If this is to be done, it should open the KCM to set the system time 
(and date?) format so that user doesn't have both 12 and 24 hour formats.

How does it work in KDE-3.5?
