Hello, Danny --
I would like to point out that you are NOT posting properly. First of
all, you "hijacked" someone else's message instead of properly posting
your own "as such". Secondly, you should not be posting to both a
Gnome list (Maybe you are NOT doing this!) and a KDE list -- when your
environment is neither; you are ENTIRELY off-topic! Thirdly, most of
the people on this list read mixed-case English very well -- "Yelling"
(by using all upper-case) simply is NOT appropriate. Fourthly, if your
problem is with your system administrator, I suggest that you contact
your system administrator (or your supervisor!). I sense that he (or
she) has substantial reason for most of the restrictions imposed. And
NOBODY on this list is going to try to tell you how to circumvent your
authorities, even if some of us might possibly agree that a particular
restriction is not appropriate!
Signature at end of message.
