[kde-linux] Konqueror as root

I have a strange problem...

In Kubuntu 8.04 KDE 3.5.10, explaining in parts:

1) I open konqueror with "sudo konqueror --profile filemanagement", it 
works fine and I can access root dirs and files.

2) Then if I R-click on a file and open with kwrite it is no longer user 
root and I cannot save it.

When I do that in Mandriva 2007.1 KDE 3.5.6 I don't have this problem.

Does anyone hava a clue about this?
