[kde-linux] lost my multiple desktops

Dear All

Well just as I say thank you I realise I have overlooked another small 
item.  I have searched within Ubuntu 8.10 and KDE 4.2 and I cannot find 
how to enable multiple desktops.  There are lots of KDE help sites but I 
cannot find this problem explained either.

I do not know how I managed to lose multiple desktops either, when I 
installed Kubuntu 8.10 I had two by default.

Perhaps someone could put me out of my embarrassed misery?
