To rephrase:
Works fine now, using KDE 3.5.10, release 21.9 on openSUSE 11.1 and pop
account, but there was problem with some type of headers that prevented KMail
to access message. With pop account it was show stopper, as no mails will be
downloaded. With imap it can have different manifestation.
I already looked around. This time searching bugs for KMail - IMAP there is
(kind of) recent bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=116372
If setting account as 'disconnected imap' doesn't help, then we can focus on
message header. Also, I would try to use different mail client to access same
account, just to make sure it is KMail problem.
