Yes, it is another case of horses rather than zebras.  It was just the 
minor problem of the "su" executable.

Note: "su" does need to be installed Set UID, doesn't it?  I was also 
surprised to find that although it is part of "coreutils" that you have 
to copy it manually to install it.
