This brings up the question why you don't simply unsubscribe?

The mailinglist software has no other indication on whether someone wants the 
mails other than the subscription status. Anyone who is subscribed gets the 
mails sent to the list.

So  the moment you remove yourself from the subscribers list, it will 
immediately stop forwarding mails to you.

Therefore my advice would be to follow the adminstration link on the bottom of 
any of the mails sent through this list, scroll to the bottom and follow the 
unsubscribe instructions.
