Thank you, however this was not the problem, perms were set correctly. 
The problems disappeared after installing the nepomuk and strigi stuff 
and _after rebooting_.
My feeling is, that installation success of kde should not depend on 
optional software components.
But anyway: kde4 feels great and I love it !
