Yesterday I try to use the secure shell but it didn't end with succsess. For me
it looks like the shell didn't forward to second screen.
erich@???:~> ssh -X erich at localhost
Password:
Last login: Sun Sep 7 08:36:57 2008 from console
Have a lot of fun...
erich@???:~> echo $DISPLAY
localhost:10.0
or
erich@???:~> ssh -X erich at localhost
Password:
Last login: Sun Sep 7 08:52:47 2008 from localhost
Have a lot of fun...
erich@???:~> export DISPLAY=localhost:10.1
erich@???:~> echo $DISPLAY
localhost:10.1
erich@???:~> exit
logout
But I'm not shure if the syntax of starting the shell is ok.So my you can give
me some more help to find out how it will work.I only write you two of my
tryings because at least the was ending all in the same black screen. Also to
start plasma in the shell dind't work.
Thank's for trying to help and stll some nice weekend your Erich.
