Grid spacing is set based on the configuration of the text below the 
icons and the size of the text.

You can configure the number of lines and number of characters in the 
Control Center:

	Appearance & Themes -> Background

then Click the: "Advanced Options" 'magic button'.

Note: yes this is a very stupid place to put this, but developers do not 
listen.

The text size is set in:

	Appearance & Themes -> Fonts

set the font for: "Desktop".
