A new system tray has been written for 4.2 which may include icon hiding.

Dunno.

The KDE3 version works for me under KDE4. This is not an 'official' KDE app,
it's actually an openSuse maintained app. That said, with openSuse 11.1
nearing feature freeze I hear they have almost completed the KDE4 and port
with lots of new features. So done by 4.2.

Last I heard the KPilot had been ported as part of kdepim in 4.1 with numerous
bug fixes included.

Ark has sorted this for 4.2, it's up to other apps to add them too, but we do
want to keep the rmb menu simplier than before.

Dunno.

Very curious indeed, as they use the same kpart for file management.
Cheers!
