well, i'm aware that this doesn't cause any problems

well, since the released version doesn't trigger this i suspect that there
has been some changes in xorg api that prevented it from working with the
current kde4 api. mainly in the qt accessing the xorg server. the thing that
puzzles me is that the old kde3.5 does work well with the xorg git version
and this made me wonder where the problem could be.
also if i had thought that this was an X issue i would not posted the
question on kde mailing list, but on xorg one.
last thing, i was just asking if someone has ever had kde4 working with xorg
git version. this was my real question, but the absence of answers makes me
think that this hasn't happened yet.
