[kde-linux] ipolldevd

hi -

i've running Fedora 9 (2.6.25.3-18.fc9.x86_64) and KDE4 on my mbp4,1... 
out of the box as well as with a mactel patched kernel i've noticed that 
ipolldevd is burning about 8% of the cpu... what is this? why does it 
look like it is hanging... it only occurs when kde is started... could 
this be something with the xserver and nvidia drivers...

any help would be greatly appreciated as google turns up nothing about 
this process or what it does...
