[kde-linux] Question to the KDE database admins

Hi,

after finding the (possible) soultion for the problem described in my mail with subject "KDED crashes on KDE 3.5.8" (the possible solution is described at https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=336627#c332102) I looked at the source available on KDE FTP servers and saw that the named source file (kioslave.cpp) is still unpatched.

Well, when I try to compile the (patched) source of kdebase, "make" gets the error "No rule to make target `/usr/include/kbookmarknotifier.h', needed by `kbookmarknotifier.kidl" and leaves. So how can I get rid of it? Or, about my question to the database admins: Is it possible to create a RPM of the patched code (if not done yet) and place it on the KDE repository, so that the installation of the patched KDE 3.5.8 could be done with Yum?

Thanks,

Max
