[kde-linux] Smal panel occuring on the desktop was closed...gone?

Thanks for replying.
I am using KDE 3.3.
I was infact closing a floating object on the KDE desktop. Perhaps it is called a toolbar/taskbar. It was not on the main panel at the bottom of the screen. I have tried the 'Add Panel' option, but it does not give me back the floating object that I closed:

Either that, or it's the Folder View that's missing, for which the solution is to unlock widgets, right-click on desktop, Add Widgets and select Folder View.
