[kde-linux] can we run kde application as daemon which runs in background

hi friends..
i developed a key logger which logs all the mouse events..when i press
on the kde window which i delvoped.,..but
my requirement is that i need to run the application in background
and i should log all the mouse actions..can we develop in KDE c++
plz help....
