[kde-linux] Konqueror and UTF8

Hello, can anybody help me?

I switched my system (Debian SID) from iso8859-1 to UTF8 and converted all
filenames with convmv.

locale now shows:

LANG=de_DE.utf8 at euro
LANGUAGE=de
LC_CTYPE="de_DE.utf8 at euro"
LC_NUMERIC="de_DE.utf8 at euro"
LC_TIME="de_DE.utf8 at euro"
LC_COLLATE="de_DE.utf8 at euro"
LC_MONETARY="de_DE.utf8 at euro"
LC_MESSAGES="de_DE.utf8 at euro"
LC_PAPER="de_DE.utf8 at euro"
LC_NAME="de_DE.utf8 at euro"
LC_ADDRESS="de_DE.utf8 at euro"
LC_TELEPHONE="de_DE.utf8 at euro"
LC_MEASUREMENT="de_DE.utf8 at euro"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="de_DE.utf8 at euro"
LC_ALL=

All special characters are shown correctly in konsole, but konqueror still
seems to use iso8859-1 to display filenames.

I started a konqueror instance via konsole, checked its environment
(saying "LANG=de_DE.utf8 at euro"). This instance still displays
UTF8-filenames with a iso8859-1 charset.

Is there anything I missed?

Thanks for any help,

Michael
