This should help. Look for the settings or the little thing that looks
like a wrench. It varies where it is, sorry. When you find that, go to
KDE Components then Session Manager and then a box should pop up. Under
On Login, make sure the box is checked for Restore Manually Saved
Session. Then the option should show up to save a session in the K menu.
