you just need to open a konsole and call a kde-prog with the --version 
parameter "kwrite --version". for instance. You'll see something like

[xxx:~] kwrite --version
Qt: 3.3.8
KDE: 3.5.7 "release 10.1"
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
KWrite: 4.5.7
