Hello

i know that all of you know the media notifier. when you are adding a cd/dvd in
a drive kde pops up a windows (like in Windows) which asks you what to do with
that media. i also know that this is a process controlled by dcop and there is a
method/command to disable it. i am using the following commands to disable/unable

/usr/bin/dcop --all-users --all-sessions kded kded loadModule medianotifier
/usr/bin/dcop --all-users --all-sessions kded kded unloadModule medianotifier

if i run them from a console it works very well, but if i use my application
it's not working.
i have to tell you that my application runs with root privileges as a system
command, kde is running as normal user.

can you tell me a solution for disabling media notifier from my application?
