Hi Boyan,

I come back to your mail and tried it as I would prefer the trashcan on the 
desktop. Creating the trash that way does work, but the icon does not change 
to indicate wether the trashcan is empty or full - by default you get a 
full-trashcan icon (although it's empty), and changing it to an empty trash, 
it remains "empty" when you fill it.

The applet in kicker does behave correctly.
