[kde-linux] Problem Burning Some .flac Files From Amarok With K3B

I've been using Amarok and K3B for a long time now and I'm running into
problems I've never had before. All my music and audio files are
in .flac format. Both programs have worked fine up until now and they
still usually work well together, except when I burn from the
Collection pane instead of the playlist.

I've had problems with burning some music files. I've made some mix CDs
to take with me in my car and sometimes I want to burn an entire CD "as
is". When I'm creating a mix, I load all the tracks I want into my
playlist, select them all, then right click, pick "Burn->Selected
Tracks" then click on "As Audio" on the dialog that comes up. Most of
the time this works fine, both in passing the tracks to K3B as well as
in burning them with K3B.

If, instead, I right click on an album folder in the Collection pane and
select "Burn->This Album" then when it transfers it to K3B, I
get "Unable to handle the following files due to an unsupported
format:" error dialog that lists all the files in my home directory and
the dialog comes up one time for each file in my home directory (yes,
it's a major pain!). I just circumvented it by loading an album into
the playlist and burning that.

Now I'm getting a new problem. When I select some playlists and try to
burn them, everything starts without a problem and K3B can even start
burning, but at some point I'll have a problem with a particular track.
I've included debugging output from one of the failed attempts below.
This is on an attempt where it failed on the first track. I picked it
because it was shorter than output that failed on later tracks.

Any ideas?

I'm running Kubuntu Edgy Eft.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Hal
