[kde-linux] How to do a font map?

Hello,
	I am using kde 3.5.8.
	I use a english font as kde's main font. But since I have some chinese stuff 
to display, I also have some chinese fonts, which contain bad-looking english 
chars.
	So, how should I do to use the english font, while display chinese characters 
with the chinese font?
	Now I am using the english font, and all chinese characters are just empty 
boxes....
