[kde-linux] no search bar in Konqueror

Finally, I found a solution to this in a Kubuntu forum.You have to open 
Konqueror and select Settings-->Configure Extensions-->Extensions and click 
on the box next to the Google logo. I never had to do this in pure KDE 
compiled from source. So, it must be  Kubuntu thing. What pain!
