[kde-linux] Problem with arts

Hi!
When Kde is going to play the sound with arts, the whole system just
hangs for 1,5 seconds. Then sound plays, and everything backs to
normal. And it happens every time, the sound is going to be played.
When in kcontrol I turn off option to run arts with highest possible
priority, there is no hang, but sound plays with 2 seconds delay.
artsplay somesound gives:
***
Can't connect to sound server
***
How to solve this problem without arts uninstallation?
Kde ver.: 3.5.5 and 5.5.4
