[kde-linux] Sound in Browsers

I use Opera and Firefox browsers. I would listen to the DeKalb county fire/emt 
radiop while working on my PC. It would come thru RealPlayer. sudenly I lost 
my sound. I still have sound on the PC such as when iKmail checks for mail. I 
was trying to set up notification sounds and evidently mesed it up. I use 
kde3.5 and Kubuntu. Firefox 1.5 and Opera 9.0 tp2. Can anyone help me? What 
should I check?
