[kde-linux] Konqueror LAN browser puzzle

I have a mixed platform peer-to-peer samba network.  Every machine on the 
network can be manually mounted in konqueror, but less experienced users need 
a gui.  The konqueror lan browser shows the two Mandriva boxes, but not the 
Fedora boxes or the Windows boxes.

What is likely to be the cause of this?
