1. Does one really need to rebuild the whole kitandkaboodle from scratch (this is what konstruct does)? 2. There can be problems building a new set with KDEDIR on the old (takes the headers from there!). Can one rebuild onto the existing KDEDIR (without the install), shut down KDE, rerun the make with install?
