additional note:
I just found out that kasablanca - http://kasablanca.berlios.de can 
communicate with my isp's server with AUTH TYPE = TLS, which is obviously 
something else than sftp does (which I would like to use anyways, as it is 
available to all kde-apps which use kioslaves).
