well, I tried that already - here I get:
Verbindung von Gegenstelle abgebrochen (=connection closed by foreign host).

somehow, it seems to me, the service which is run at my isp, is something 
different than sftp... (as said, they call it 'FTP over SSL' with TLS 
authentication).
