[kde-linux] logging into forums

I just built a new computer AMD64 running Kubuntu 64 with the latest kernel 
and for some reason I can not login in to forums i.e. kubuntuforums.net.  
Actually, when I click the login button after entering username and password, 
the site shows me in the list of users logged in but I have no posting 
privileges and it still shows "welcome guest".  I am using Konqueror.  
Firefox , however has no problem.
