[kde-linux] System/Network taskbar applets?

If you've been reading this list very carefully :-), you may have noted
that I had been using IceWM as my window manager, but it was causing
trouble with the system tray applets (or rather KDE was causing trouble
because its own WM wasn't being used), so I've recently put IceWM aside
in favor of kwin (that's the name, right?)
The one thing that I really miss is that IceWM by default puts up a
couple very attractive system monitors on its taskbar: a cpu/disk load
monitor and a network traffic monitor. They're small and don't convey
a lot of information, as such, but they make it very easy to see
what's going on.
I've found the System Guard applet which does something like IceWM's
cpu/disk load monitor, but there doesn't seem to be a network traffic
monitor (at least in the default install) available with KDE. This
latter is actually the more useful of the two, and I *really* feel blind
not being able to see data flowing in and out of my machine!
Does anyone know if such an applet exists? Ideally I'd love to find out
if some KDE fan has exactly copied the (as I say very attractive in
their colorful simplicity) IceWM monitor applets.
Thanks,
Dave
