I find that the title can be reset after running the following line in the 
konsole:

$ echo -ne '\033]0;AAAAAAA\007'

Here, the title turns to AAAAAAA - xxxxxx.

The results in other term (like xterm, gnome-terminal) seem similar.
I asume it may be a standard of xterm. (I'm not sure)
