Yes, simply get each user to go to the Display section of KDE's control 
panel under Peripherals (or system settings, if you use Kubuntu). Here 
they can modify the screen resolution accordingly and these settings 
should be applied for each user on login. If users need to change screen 
resolution often, try using KResize and Rotate, available by running 
'krandrtray' from the Run Command box. It gives a system tray icon for 
quickly switching resolutions.
