[kde-linux] knotes network setup

Hi. I've got two computers networked via a router, both with KDE 
running. I want the notes on knotes to be shared with the laptop PC. 
I've tried symlinking, but the links are erased when the laptop is in 
offline mode. I've seen knotes' network option, but I have no idea how 
to set it up. Can anyone lend a hand?
