[kde-linux] How to align desktop shortcuts by a script

Kevin, thanks for your reply.

Yes, it aligns but the gap between icons are too wide
and the icons are not alphabetically sorted. 

The Desktop right click->Icons->Line Up Vertically
aligns icons vertically, positions nearer and sorted
alphabetically. Can we simulated this?
