[kde-linux] Strange Konqueror problem

Some progress -

I've set the Default for browsing to open "in an application based on the 
contents of the URL".  Now firefox does not launch, but xine tries to.  
However, I then see the message "A problem occur while loading a library or a 
decoder: cook.so.6.0".  Maybe this is related to the plugin problems we have 
been discussing in another thread.  I've never heard of cook.so.6.0.  Can 
anyone enlighten me?
