I'm not sure what's happening, John. It looks as though some of the content
of both radio3 and radio4 is in Real format, and plays fine with the
stand-alone player, while other parts of it show all right, but no sound
comes out. Konqueror is not crashing, though.
FWIW, I used to listen to radio4 frequently before I upgraded to 2005LE, so
there must be a solution to this. I suppose that the first thing is to try
to find out what format those other files are, so that we can set file
associations for them. I do have x-realaudio and x-real-audio both set to
Totem, but without knowing the format, it's difficult to advise. Perhaps you
could start by putting Totem above Kaffeine for each audio format, and see if
you still get crashes. If you don't. put Kaffeine back for any format that
you would prefer it, and test again.
