[kde-linux] home dir on remote disk?

Hi. I'm using K Desktop on a Redhat Enterprise Linux release 4.
Everything worked great until I tried using a remote-mounted home
directory for myself.

Now I can't drag anything to the trash. I suspect it's because dragging
things to a folder that's not local is considered to be copying, and
copying to the trash isn't allowed (?).

Making ~/.Trash be a symbolic link to a local .Trash is also no help.
Any ideas? Is there a way to configure where you want your trash can to
live?

Thanks for any ideas.

-Allen
